The Limewash Folding Bench is inspired by the original Indian folding tables. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Limewashing is an ancient technique used for thousands of years, originally used as a protective coating on buildings in ancient civilizations such as Egypt, Greece and Rome. Made from slaked lime (calcium hydroxide), limewash created a breathable and waterproof barrier that helped prevent damage from moisture and rot. Over time, limewash also became popular as a decorative finish due to its natural appearance and ability to create different textures and effects. Today, limewash is valued for its fashionable and rustic elegance, as well as its old-world charm.
