Falcon metal table lamp

The Falcon table lamp is inspired by a falcon cast in bronze from southern Italy, dating back to the 13th century and found in Italy in 1925. It is currently in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. It is associated with the Germanic dynasty of Hohenstaufen emperors who ruled much of present-day Germany and Italy. This sculpture may have adorned a throne or other piece of furniture. The Falcon table lamp features a precisely crafted copper-bronze finish and a handmade linen blend lampshade.
